George Alexander Menelik Brown (Wigan, UK, 1995)
I’m a multidisciplinary creative dedicated to shaping culture and sparking meaningful dialogue through impactful, socially conscious work. My practice spans design thinking, filmmaking, photography, and graphic design—tools I use to tell compelling stories, communicate complex ideas, and support organisations across the creative and cultural industries.
Since graduating with a BA in Design from Goldsmiths, University of London, I’ve worked internationally on social impact media campaigns with Paramount Global, toured with Grammy-nominated artists as a music photographer, and created content for purpose-driven platforms and grassroots organisations, with a focus on culture, equity, and visual storytelling.
Whether directing a short film, producing campaign content, or mentoring emerging creatives, I bring curiosity, clarity, and cultural insight to every project. I thrive in collaborative environments and pride myself on being a flexible, thoughtful contributor to multidisciplinary teams.
My personal work explores society through the lens of visual media and community engagement, often reflecting themes of identity, justice, and lived experience. I am also the co-founder and Creative Director of Channels Research Group, a collective using critical research and media to challenge racial injustice in the UK.
Creative practice, for me, is a tool for transformation—not just of ideas, but of systems. I’m committed to work that resonates, disrupts, and empowers—work that doesn’t just reflect the world we live in, but actively helps to shape a better one.
